# Understanding Grids
Grids are logical grouping of compute resources. You can target your apps on one or more grids, combining their compute power flexibly.
If you have grids, you can share with others. Similarly, others (or your admin) can share grids with you for your perusal.
Below is how you can choose one or more grids when configuring and launching your apps.
